In a small town filled with rooftops and tall trees, lived a tiny sparrow named Chinni. She was the youngest in her nest, and her wings were not strong enough yet to fly. Every morning, her siblings would flap and flutter off to explore the skies. But poor Chinni? She would sit on the edge of the nest and whisper to herself, “One day, naanum parakka poren... wait pannunga!”

The other birds laughed kindly, “Chinni, nee innum kutty tha! Wings-a strengthen panniko first!”

But Chinni never gave up. Every single morning, before the sun even rose, she would stretch her tiny wings and try. Sometimes she’d fall back into the nest. Other times, she’d flap so hard, feathers would go flying!

One particular morning, the sky turned pink and golden. Chinni stood on the branch again. The wind gently brushed her feathers as if cheering her on. Her heart said, “Today is the day.” She closed her eyes, flapped her wings, and leapt.

At first, she dipped a little, like a paper boat in the breeze. But then—magic! Her wings caught the air and she was flying! Not too high, not too fast… but she was finally gliding through the morning sky!

Below, her siblings cheered, “Chinni! Nee parakkare!”
And Chinni chirped happily, “Naan sonnen laa… I just needed one good morning!”

From that day on, Chinni never missed her sunrise practice. She became one of the best flyers in the flock—not because she was the strongest, but because she never stopped believing in her mornings.

Moral: Even the smallest voice can make a big difference. Every new morning is a chance to bring light to someone’s life — even your own.

  • Every morning is a new beginning — don’t give up just because yesterday didn’t work.

  • Small, consistent efforts bring big changes.

  • Your “flight” may not be perfect, but it will be yours.

“Fail pannalum parakkura kaalam varaikum try pannunga.”
