ЁЯМ┐ The Step in the Fog – A Midweek Motivation Story

You don't need to see the whole path. Just take the next step in faith

It was a cold, misty morning in a small hillside village. A young girl named Shanu stood at the edge of a forest path, holding her little lantern. She had to cross through the woods to deliver a letter to her sick grandmother in the next town.

But today, the fog was thicker than usual. Shanu couldn’t see more than two feet ahead. The path, usually familiar and clear, now looked mysterious and frightening. She hesitated.

"What if I lose my way?" she thought.
"What if I can’t find the next turn?"

Just then, her father walked up behind her and placed his hand gently on her shoulder.

"You don’t need to see the whole path, Shanu," he said with a calm smile. "Just take one step at a time. Your lantern will light the next spot when you get there."

Encouraged, Shanu took her first step. The fog didn’t vanish—but with each step, a little more of the path was revealed. Step by step, she moved forward. She reached her grandmother's home safely, her heart full of joy—not just for the journey completed, but for the courage found in the unknown.

Life is often like that foggy path. We don’t always know what tomorrow holds. But God gives us just enough light to take one step at a time. And that’s all we need.

ЁЯСЙ Today, don’t be afraid of not seeing the full picture. Take the next step. Trust. Move forward in faith.
