A monk once invited a young visitor to his monastery.

The visitor was full of questions — about life, success, stress, and balance. He spoke non-stop.

The monk quietly prepared tea.
As he poured into the visitor’s cup, the tea reached the brim… but the monk kept pouring.

Tea spilled over the edges.

The visitor shouted,

“Stop! The cup is full! It can't hold any more!”

The monk smiled and said,

“Exactly. You are like this cup — so full of your thoughts, worries, and plans.
How can I offer you peace… when there's no space to pour it in?”


ЁЯзШ The Lesson:

To have a mindful morning, we must first empty our cup.

Let go of yesterday.
Take a deep breath.
Be present. Be still.

Only when we’re empty… can we be filled with peace.
