When Your Office Feels Like a Warzone
There are days I walk into my office with a deep sigh.
Not because of the workload —
But because of the blame, the politics, the invisible walls.
People are quick to point fingers.
Slow to take responsibility.
Everyone wants to win… even if it means stepping over others.
"You said this."
"She didn’t do that."
"Why should I take the blame?"
And I’m stuck in the middle — trying to breathe, trying to not lose myself.
The Noise Behind the Desk
It’s not just the typing or the printers anymore.
The real noise comes from harsh words, sarcasm, and ego battles.
And yet, in the middle of that noise,
I’ve learned something powerful:
“You don’t have to become the environment you’re in.”
🌸 My Quiet Choices:
- I stopped reacting to every harsh comment.
- I began praying for peace — not just for me, but even for those who hurt me.
- I reminded myself daily: "Kindness is not weakness. Silence is not surrender."
- Blame doesn’t fix problems. Grace does.
- You don’t have to play dirty to survive
- God watches how we respond, not just how we suffer.
If you're reading this and nodding quietly —
because you too feel stuck in a toxic workplace —
let me tell you this:
You are not alone.
You are not the problem.
And you don’t have to lose your light to survive in darkness.
Because your peace is worth protecting.
