An old man lived alone in a desert village where water was scarce. Every morning, he walked to the well with a small clay pot.
One day, a young traveler asked, “Why carry water daily with such a small pot? Why not use a big bucket and store it?”
The old man smiled, “Because I give away what I don’t need.”
The traveler followed him and saw the man pouring a little water into bowls outside homes — for stray animals, plants, and even under a dying tree.
The traveler said, “But it’s not enough to make a difference.”
The old man replied gently,
“One drop may not change the desert,
But to a thirsty bird, that drop is life.
And to me, that act is purpose.”
ЁЯТб Life Message:
We may not change the whole world, but we can change someone’s world with small acts of kindness. Life’s meaning often hides in the little things we do with love.
